I bought E the cutest Baby Lulu outfit from Costco.. who would have thought?? It has a matching skirt with teh same material on her sleeves.  Of course she wouldn't hold still long enough for me to get a good picture.

Playdate Fun?

E had her first "School friend playday".   Now the difference between this and our usual playdates is that the kids are friends not exactly me and this mom.  I was a little skeptical about going, because E is only 2, so of course I'm going with her.  So if E and her friend are playing, what am I going to talk about with mom who is probably 15 years my senior and not exactly relateable???  Well.. it went a lot better than I thought.  She introduced me to some Peach tea that I actually enjoyed.  I should have been more open minded about it, BUT I don't see this mom and I becoming best friends anytime soon.

Mommy Guilt

So I suffer from something called Mommy Guilt.  It's awful.  I think especically being a single Mom, it makes me want to be there for her 24-7.  I haven't had some Mommy time over a month and as I was trying to leave last night my baby said, "Mommy stay".  That was the first time she actually said those words, before she would just get upset.  I felt conflicted because I knew that getting out the house would relax me and in turn make me a better mom.  But then, I didn't want to leave my baby!  It's hard finding a balance between wanting to spend every moment with your child and taking precious time to find time for yourself.  Well, I'll keep working on it.

My first time

I'm excited to enter the world of "Mommy Blogging".  The time has come where I'm ready to join in on this journey!  My baby elephant may not seem like a baby, but she'll always be my baby so I like to refer to her as one.  She is two years old going on 12.  In the blog I will call her "E".  To me she is the brightest, funniest, cutest, sweetest, smartest, most amazing child; but I think every mother feels that way!  I can't wait to share funny stories, beautiful pictures, and share some of my random thoughts too!  Enjoy.
